Taylor top Canadian at Mayakoba, Weir, Ames will qualify for Schwab Cup final....live scoreboards

Stephen Ames and Mike Weir are not in contention for this weeks Champions Tour penultimate event on Old Broken Sound in Boca Raton after a 36 hole Saturday, but based on their fine play during the season they are both projected to make the final 36 players at next week's finale in Phoenix.

Ames is T27 -2 70 72, while Weir is 44th 78 72 +6 this week, Ames projected to finish 22nd while Weir is projected to finish 9th.

Journeyman Tim Petrovic and Jim Furyk lead at -14, while Kiwi Monday qualifier Steven Aiker is right behind at -13 and after finishing 2nd last week he may well make the top 36 with another good round today. Ernie Els is 4th at -11.

Points leader Bernhard Langer is T15 -5, and still projected to finish atop the standings.

Nick Taylor is the top Canadian going into today's final round T17 67 69 67 -10 at this low scoring World Wide Technology Championship on this Mayakoba resort course in Mexico.

Adam Hadwin T45 69 68 67 -7 and Adam Svensson is last 70th 72 65 74 -2.

The defending champion, young Norwegian star Viktor Hovland cruised to a -9 62  on Saturday and leads by 2 shots going into today's final round. Justin Thomas with Jim "Bones" McKay on his bag is lurking at -16.


European Tour : Portugal Masters leaderboard Leaderboard

Frenchman Matthieu Pavon and Begium's Thomas Pieters both shot 65 on Saturday at the Portugal Masters and are just underway today sharing a 4 shot lead at -16. Pavon is looking for his first win, Pieters has 4.
