LPGA Tour: Pelican Women's Championship here
With the leaders Lexi Thompson and Jennifer Kupcho beginning the day at -11, Brooke Henderson who began today 67 69 -4 got off to a great start early Saturday morning at the Pelican Women's Championship in Belleair, Florida
She is -3 thru 7 holes with a birdie 3 at the 4th and an eagle 3 at the 7th. She made a bogey at 8 but bounced right back with a birdie 2 at 9 to get out in 32. However she could only manage 2 more birdies on the back nine for a solid -5 65 -9 total T11.
Alena Sharp who also began the day T29th shot a +2 72 T60.
The leaders going into Sunday are Nelly Korda 63 -16 and Lexi Thompson 65 -16, but the leaderboard is jam packed with 4 players at -15 including Lydia Ko.
