Henrik Stenson takes the clubhouse lead at PGA Championship

PGA Championship new tee times http://www.pga.com/pgachampionship/scoring/leaderboard

Baltusrol located just 25 miles west of New York City in Springfield NJ is built on the side of a hill in a farming area which will help the water run off and that is the good news, the bad news is that water in the form of rain fell on Monday and has moved into the area overnight and the system is now forecast to stay over the weekend.

Holes 13 and 18 in particular are in the lowest part of the course and they were posing the biggest threat to the greenskeeping staff

As a result play was suspended early this morning and players were being held in position on the course. The cut is projected at +1

Here is the official forecast https://www.google.ca/?gfe_rd=cr&ei=EcrMVb3XM4WN8QeTx63wAQ&gws_rd=ssl#q=weather+forecast+springfield+new+jersey

The sun finally came out at 11am and Henrik Stenson has continued his fine form with a second straight 67 and he is the clubhouse leader at -6.

Martin Kaymer with a 69 and Patrick Reed 65 are T2 -5. Jordan Spieth is 70 67 -3.

Phil Mickelson hit his first drive OB and had a spectator pick up his provisional. What a start !!
