Round 2 has just finished in Hong Kong and today this Fanling course has really dried out with the breeze that continues to swirl, the fairways are running and the greens are releasing approach shots. The cut has fallen at +2 and this morning there were a lot of nervous putts to make that number on the 18th including John Daly who has made it on the number with a 6 footer for par.
Rory McIlroy and Alvaro Quiros both shot -1 69's and lead the field by a shot at -7 albeit by different routes. Rory was out -1 34, got it to -3,but made bogey at 16 and 18 for his 69 while Alvaro started with a bogey, was out in +2 37, but roared home in -3 32 including a birdie at 18 for the second day in a row for his share of the lead.
