DP World Tour : Qatar Masters Tee Times Leaderboard

You will remember the young South African, Jayden Schaper who in the fortnight before Christmas won the Alfred Dunhill Championship, then chipped in at the final hole to win the AfrAsia Bank Mauritius Open the following week, he was the talk of the DP World Tour.

This morning he was up and attem' early to post a bogey free 7 birdie 65 to move up 27 places T7 -11. That's the type of round the leader Patrick Reed will need to fend off to win his 2nd DP World title today.

Through 11 holes he is -1 on his round -15 with a 22 shot lead over 4 players at -13 who are snapping at his heels, but are also running out of holes...

FINAL EDIT

Patrick Reed holds off final-day chase to win Qatar Masters

Patrick Reed left LIV this year and with his family, Justine and two children Windsor and Barrett back home in the Woodlands, Texas.

He and his team with his wife's brother Kessler on the bag came to Dubai 3 weeks ago and beat Rory and others from the Ryder Cup team to win the Hero Dubai Desert

Then on to Bahrain with the rank and file where he T2 lost in a 3 man playoff to Freddie Schott.

Now, moments ago he outlasted the field with a strong back nine bogey free, 3 birdie 33 to finish with 33 -16 for another victory, this one by shots, and a big lead at #1 in the early days of the 2026 Race to Dubai.

Calum Hill, the other man beaten last week's play-off as Freddy Schott won in Bahrain, finished second on -14 for a second consecutive runner-up finish, one shot ahead of Reed's playing partner Jacob Skov Olesen and Johannes Veerman.

“It wasn’t looking very good there on the front nine," he admitted afterwards. "To lose the lead like that and then to be able to kind of flip the switch there on the back nine obviously felt amazing.

“I just needed a putt to go in. I mean, I had 18 putts on the front nine, yesterday I had 33 putts, so I felt like I was hitting the ball fine.

“I felt like right when we made the turn - you know, we were chasing at that point - I just decided to go for it and trust in the putter and trust in the process, and we were able to kind of get it done.

win-T2-win in his last 3 outings, and remember he T3 at the Masters in 2025.

Olesen and Veerman shared third place, with Lindell and Bradbury joined by Angel Ayora and Sebastian Söderberg on -12 for a share of fifth.

The top ten was completed by Schaper, Gregorio De Leo, David Micheluzzi, Antoine Rozner and Kazuma Kobori in a T9 on -11

Ireland's three-time Major Champion Padraig Harrington, in his 500th DP World Tour event, was under par for the fourth day in a row with a 71 to finish -5
