NOTE : Play has been suspended 1120am due to torrential rain, Royal Joburg GC flooded
After overnight rain,, the grounds crew managed to get play underway at 1030 am local time, however play was suspended at 1120am as the rain intensified, flooding the course again.
Aaron Cockerill only managed 2 holes 10th, 11th both double bogey's, the course was close to unplayable.
The problem is there is a lot more rain forecast for Sunday, and this afternoon doesn't look good either.
Possibilities
1. Try and get 54 holes done today
2. Suspend play for the day, wipe out scores, wait to resume Sunday.
3. Try for 54 holes by Sunday, Monday finish..
A further announcement expected at 1400hrs following a course inspection to follow

1430hrs Play has been abandoned for the day, tournament reduced to 54 holes, will resume at 6.30am local Sunday..
