DP World Tour : AfrAsia Bank Mauritius Open Weather Tee Times
Aaron Cockerill certainly has played a lot of golf since he lost his DP World Tour Card in Korea back on October 26th finishing 2025 at #120.

Undaunted he went off to the Final Stage of Q School November 7-12 in Tarragona, Spain, 72 holes, 156 players, 20+would qualify for their 2026 DP World Tour cards, with a year on the Hotel Planner Tour ahead for most.
Finding the form he had been searching for all year, he shot 69 66 to make the cut, 70 67 67 65 -24 to finish T2 to the run away winner Zander Lombard -34.
Great relief, joy, satisfaction for Aaron, Chelsea and all his team and sponsors, he won his card for 2026 right back!
Aaron usually plays a couple of events in South Africa before Christmas after the DP World Tour playoffs are done and dusted, this year he put his pedal to the metal and headed straight down to Australia, for the 1st time I can recall.
The 1st event of 42, in 2026, November 27-30 Australian PGA Championship, Royal Queensland, Brisbane, he MC 72 73 by 5 shots.
He took the short flight down the coast to Melbourne and the famous Royal Melbourne GC where Rory got everyone's attention returning to play and promote the Australian Open.
Aaron looked like his Aussie adventure was going to be a short one when he opened in windy conditions with 74. However he showed the same stuff he found at Q School with a Friday 68 to make the cut on the number.
A fine 67 70 weekend saw him T23, smiles all round !
Now he flew off to his 3rd week, in Joburg for the Dunhill Championship where Mother Nature took over, with monsoon like rain reducing the Royal Johannesburg GC to a 54 hole event.
With 68 72 he made the cut at -4, then got a bad break with the weather on Saturday when only 40 players began their rounds in the rain, he played 2 holes and doubled them both before play was abandoned.
Instead of scrapping the few holes played and starting the field on Sunday with even conditions, officials deemed their scores would stand, he ended up with 75 T78.
This week he plays again his 4th, in Mauritius for the 1st time, a paradise resort in the Indian Ocean. He begins play ranked 75th Race to Dubai, #415 owgr.
Group 22 730am 10th Aaron Cockerill, Christiaan Burke,RSA, Jack Senior, England
With Christmas a fortnight away most of the big Aussie's are not here, pretty much a rank and file DP World Tour event with a strong South African contingent.
ps... The weather back home in Winnipeg is -14 this week, just sayin'....
