Three Canadians at John Deere Classic...TEE TIMES

PGA Tour : John Deere Classic Tee Times

This John Deere Classic on TPC Deere Run in Illinois, is the last PGA Tour stop in the States before a fortnight in the UK for the Genesis Scottish Championship next week at Renaissance Club, North Berwick, then the 153rd Open at Royal Portrush in Northern Ireland.

Currently after Final Qualifying for the Open yesterday, there are 142 places booked out of 156 for Portrush. Five more will be decided after the BMW International this week in Munich, another three at the Genesis will make 150. The R&A keeps the final 6 for special exemptions.

There are no spots available after play at the John Deere anymore. However there are 1800 Ryder Cup points available.

Ben Griffin is one who is interested in that. He is as hot as any player here, with top 15 finishes in 7 of his last 9 events. He has won the Charles Schwab Challenge in Texas, and the Zurich Classic two man team event. Throw in T10 US Open, 8th at the PGA Championship and 2nd at the Memorial

In 8th place, looks like a shoo in for the Ryder cup squad whether a top 6 or a captain's pick.

Three Canadians are in the field, all trying to improve their owgr. Adam Hadwin #117,
