Rookie Aldrich Potgieter leads pack at Rocket Classic...Sunday leaderboard

PGA Tour : Rocket Classic Tee Times  Leaderboard

If you can picture a horse race coming charging around the clubhouse turn, with one horse just leading on the rail, with a huge pack all tightly bunched right on his tail, that is the situation 20 year old South African rookie Aldrich Potgieter is in today at the Rocket Classic in Detroit.

With rounds 62 70 65 -19 the long hitting Springbok will try to become not only the youngest from his country to win on the PGA Tour, he is the youngest on Tour and he leads by 2 shots.

However, it is going to be a shootout on this Detroit GC that the pros have been having their way with since Thursday. Rank and file names, all with their own stories, all quite capable on their day, Greyserman, Knapp, Kirk, Hubbard, Putnam are closest at -17.

Then the highest ranked at world #5 Collin Morikawa, T10 -15 and Japan's Matsuyama #12 is T20 -13.

Canadians

Adam Hadwin T55  67 70 71 -8

Ben Silverman T62 73 64 72 -7

With better weather in store the field is back to traditional pairings of two all off the 1st tee.
