The inaugural World Champions Cup is about to get underway this morning in Bradenton, Florida at the Concession GC.
Its for the PGA Tour Champions, a hybrid mix of Ryder Cup, and Presidents Cup with 3 captains, 3 teams and 162 points (24 nine hole competitions) on tap over 3 days, Thursday, Friday and Sunday with a closed door pro-am on Saturday.

Format
Thursday, Friday morning: Six Ball ( 2 man teams playing their own ball for 9 holes each hole worth 3 points )
Thursday, Friday afternoon : Scottish Sixsomes ( 2 man teams playing there own drive for holes, then alternate shot with each hole worth 3 points)
Saturday pro am
Sunday final: 12 singles playing holes with each hole worth 3 points.
The team with the most total points when they add them all up wins !
Sounds like fun, with things getting serious once play begins as usual.
