PGA Tour Champions: Rapsican Systems Classic SATURDAY scoreboard here
When this season began, Stephen Ames went to stay in Hawaii for a month to practice and enjoy a holiday at the same time, that's typical of him, enjoy life, play well and repeat.
He went out and T3 at the Mitsubishi in January, then repeated that T3 at the Hoag Classic in March, that's two T3 in his 4 events so far
This week he's the only Canuck in the field with Mike Weir preparing for the Masters week, and he has opened with -4 68 in Biloxi, Mississippi at the Rapsican Systems Classic. After bogey's at 2 and 3 he righted the ship and mixed 6 birdies and all pars for his next 15 holes.
Going into play today he is 1 shot off the lead shared by Paddy Harrington and Tim Herron both with 67.
