European Tour After his record breaking 2013 season Henrik Stenson came into this year " completely stressed out " and his game suffered. Recently though he has been showing the form he stunned the golfing world with last year, placing 3rd in Turkey last week.
You'll remember his stunning 3 wood from 250 yards on the 18th last year that nestled down just 2 feet from the pin for a tap in eagle, it won him the shot of the year to go along with the tournament and all his other baubles...
Well he posted a solid 66 earlier this morning to take a 2 shot lead at -10 over Rory (70), Danny Willett (67) and Richie Ramsay (69) all on -8 in Dubai.
On a day of low scoring there are 10 players with 4 shots of the big Swede. Rory hardly made a putt all day, although he is still hitting the ball miles. The low round of the day -8 64 went to Spaniard Rafeal Cabrera Bello and he leads a group of 5 players including Justin Rose and Shane Lowry who had a hole in one at -7..

Leader Michael Wright shot a 68 for a 36-hole total of -9,135, two strokes ahead of fellow Australian Paul Spargo on a crowded leaderboard.
