Cockerill back in action at the Spanish Open in Madrid..TEE TIMES

DP World Tour : Spanish Open Tee Times

From historic St Andrews in the wind and rain to sunny Madrid Aaron Cockerill's journey continues on the DP World Tour, After rounds of 73 72 at Kingsbarns and St Andrews the rain set in for the weekend and being 5 shots clear of making the cut, he said his goodbyes' and headed for Madrid for some sunshine and practice.

Jon Rahm is the headliner looking to win his 4th Spanish championship, thus edging his hero Seve in the process.

Aaron hasn't spoke with us a whole lot but his form from early in 2023 has left him. He's now 75th in the Race to Dubai ranking, 268 in the world.

Aaron Cockerill

In December 2022 he T4 at the Alfred Dunhill in RSA, then after being home for the birth of daughter Addison Kate on February 1st 2023 he caught fire on his return late in March at the Jonsson Workwear T13, the next week he lost the ISPS Handa in a playoff, 2nd,  T21 in Korea, T16 in Italy, T10 in Belgium then was off for 6 weeks, since then in 9 events, his best finish is a T58. with 4 missed cuts.

Lets hope with a few days practice he finds the form from earlier during in the year when he said  "I've never hit the ball better than I am right now"
