It's John Deere Classic time again, Full scoreboard includes 4 Canadians...

PGA Tour : John Deere Classic  Tee Times

Silvis, Illinois is a small city in the Quad Cities region covering the borders of Illinois and Iowa. Farming country of the American mid west, home of the main employer John Deere and the TPC Deere Run golf course.

A staple on the PGA Tour, terrific sponsor, local fans that turn out in droves every year to take the same seats, locations with friends and family as the year before. Originally called the Quad Ciries Open in 19971, it has had several sponsor's, 25 years at Oakwood CC before settling as the John Deere Classic in 1999 on TPC Deere Run in 2000.

It's a shoulder event, with most of the top pro's on their way to the UK or Ireland to get acclimatized for a week on Irish links or the Genesis sponsored Scottish Open and the Open Championship itself.

Prize money $7,400,000  Winner $1,322,000

So another rank and file week, but with Jordan Spieth winning it in 2013/15, Bryson DeChambeau in his pomp in 2017 and Steve Stricker three years in a row, 2009/10/11 it has had it's moments.

JT Poston won it by 3 shots in 2022 at -21. 10 of the last 13 have been birdie fests -20 or under.
