As I mentioned yesterday this Wyndham Championship is the final chance this year for players to make the top 125 to secure their cards for next year and make the Fed Ex Cup playoffs this year..
For those who are already in, it's a chance to improve their status but for those on the outside or worse on the bubble, every shot has a heavy significance.
Michael Gligic is one of those on the outside, and he did himself a big favour yesterday with a -5 65 T5 and 4 off the lead. He began the day 132nd, now projected to 119.
Nick Taylor -3 67 T22 is on the bubble, beginning at 120, and after his round 115.
Mac Hughes -3 67 T22 is safe for 2023 began at 45, now at 46
Taylor Pendrith +1 71 T76 is also good for 2023 ranked at 62nd.
Corey Connors E 70 is one of our premier players is ranked at 34
Roger Sloan E 70 T76 is on the outside beginning at 164, now at 166
Adam Svensson E70 T76 is also in good shape for next year, starting at 84 and out early this morning.
The leader is American John Huh -9 61 moving up 73 spots from 111 to a projected 38th !
