Stacy Lewis snaps winless streak, gives prize money to Houston families

Stacy Lewis played this week with a heavy heart for all her hometown families in Houston  on who have been devastated by the flooding from Hurricane Harvey.

In the end she hung on to win this Cambia Portland Classic edging In Gee Chun with a final round -3 69 -20 total and as she promised immediately donated all her prize money to the Houston relief organizations. One of her sponsors KPMG matched the $195,000 and another donated $1m.

She hadn't won since 2014, coming 2nd 12 times in that span, so it was an emotional win all round.

Brooke Henderson played her way out of contention with her 74 on Saturday, still she started on fire -5 through 8 holes on Sunday, eventually settling for -2 70 -10 total T15 so 2 wins and T15 in her 3 trips to this Columbia Edgewater CC...that's better than anyone elseelse

Alena Sharp shot +1 73 -6 T33..

The LPGA/LET have one major left, the Evian Championship in France, September 14..
