Brooke Henderson tied for the lead at Cambia Portland Classic

LPGA Cambia Portland Classic leaderboard http://www.lpga.com/tournaments/cambia-portland-classic/leaderboard

She won it by 8 shots in 2015 with a record score of -21 267, then by 4 in 2016 with a score of -14 274, and now after consecutive 67's Brooke Henderson is tied for the lead again in this Cambia Portland Classic at -10.

There are horses for courses, and golf is no different. Remember Tiger won 8 times at Torrey Pines, another 6 or so at Firestone, same at Arnie's Bay Hill. He just owned those courses, they fit his eye.

Brooke is obviously the same on this lush, green tree lined Columbia Edgewater CC just outside Oregon, she is -45 in her 10 rounds here. On Friday she made the turn at -1, but admitted afterwards that the shot that saved her day was at the par 4 11th when she holed her approach for an eagle 2. She followed that with birdies on 12, 14 and 15.

Nancy Lopez won this event 3 times and co-incidentally Brooke played with her in the Wednesday pro-am where she had a hole in one !  ..an omen perhaps ?

South Korean In Gee Chun (68) and American Stacy Lewis (64) are tied with Brooke at -10 and they are 2 shots clear of three players including Japanese star Ai Miyazato who has announced she will be retiring at the end of this season.

Canadians: Alena Sharp 69 71 -4 is T24, Maude Aimee LeBlanc 70 73 -1 isT63. Jennifer Ha, Augusta James both MC.
