Stephen Ames is one of 3 Canucks who teed it up at this years US Senior Open at Salem CC in Peabody Mass., and he has added a -4 66 to his opening E70 to sit T12 after play was suspended due to lightning in the area last evening.
Philip Jonas 75 77 and John Kelly 75 82 both MC.
The leaders are just tearing up this soft Salem course. Kirk Triplett 62 67 and big hitting Kenny Perry 65 64 are both at an unusual major championship -11 after 2 rounds, two shots clear of the field.
The cut fell a +1 sending past favourites like Nick Faldo 73 69, Loren Roberts 71 72, Tom Kite 74 73, Mark Calcavecchia 76 72, Mark O'Meara 75 74, Hale Irwin 72 77, and Peter Jacobsen 77 76 all packing... or back to the broadcast booth !
