Scottish weather strikes AAM Scottish Open, McIlroy misses another cut.

European Tour AAM Scottish Open leaderboard https://www.europeantour.com/en/europeantour/tournaments/2017/aberdeen-asset-management-scottish-open/#leaderboard

"Due the threat of high winds the leaders will now tee-off at 11.58 local time, three hours ahead of scheduled, play is therefore to finish just before 16.00 local time".

Thus round 3 is already under way at 6am EST at the AAM Scottish Open with all the leaders in play. Paddy Harrington dropped a shot early and is at -8.

Scores are changing as you can imagine but the leaders are a mix of guys you've never heard of and stars so follow your favourites on my leaderboard link above.

Besides Harrington and his 3 majors, Rickie Fowler is the biggest name remaining and after 67 70 on these Dundonald Links in Ayrshire he has made an early birdie to get to -8. Ian Poulter, 67 69 is now at -9.

The biggest name, Rory McIlroy shot 74 71, but barely missed the cut which fell at E,  as his putting woes continued.

Unknowns like England's Callum Shinkwin 67 68 -9, Alexander Knappe of Germany 70 65 -9 are also tied for the lead.

Aussie veteran Andrew Dodt 67 69 -8 is having a great week.

So look for great wind players like Harrington and Fowler to excel in this wind at the end of play today.
