Weekend golf picture. Hadwin T4 in Mexico, scoreboards, stories..

It's a beautiful weekend in southern Ontario, above seasonal temperatures, lots of sunshine, and of course golf has already moved to warm weather climes, like Mexico where Adam Hadwin goes into the weekend T4, and Brooke Henderson plays in the Lorena Ochoa Invitational.

The senior circuit has their season finale for the Charles Schab Cup and Paul Goydos has opened up with a -8 62 as they play in Tuscon, and the European Tour is in the warmth of Sun City, South Africa.

With 3 rounds in the books it is South Korea's Jeunghun Wang aided and abetted by a brilliant -8 64 -11 total in tough conditions, who takes a 3 shot lead into the final round over fan favourite Louis Oosthuizen (70) -8 total.

Andy Sullivan is at -7, while Brandon Grace and Alex Noren are -5, with Henrik Stenson and another Springbok Jaco van Zyl in with an outside chance at -4.

Only 15 players are under par in very windy conditions on this Gary Player GC.

Gary Woodland 64 65 -13 has the lead at this Mexican resort course in Mayakoba. He's a shot ahead of Webb Simpson 65 65 -12 with Scott Piercy next 65 66 -11.

Two of the 4 Canadians are doing very well, Adam Hadwin 67 66 -9 T4, and Nick Taylor 68 66 -8 T12.

Paul Goydos shot an -8 62 in the wind to take a 3 shot lead at the season-ending Charles Schwab Cup Championship.

Colin Montgomerie is 2nd at -5 65 while points leader Bernhard Langer is in with -3 67.

As the week began the top five in the standings after Langer are Scott McCarron (69), Montgomerie, Joe Durant (70) and Miguel Angel Jimenez (74)and any of them can take the season title with a victory.

Unheralded Australian, Sarah Jane Smith shot a -4 68 -9 total to take a two-stroke lead in Lorena Ochoa Invitational. She is without a win so far on the LPGA Tour and afterwards she acknowledged that fact. “I feel a little bit nervous to be honest. I have never been in this position before

Playing on her home course Mexico’s Gaby Lopez had a 65 and is at -7 along with South Korea’s Mi Jung Hur (66) and Colombia’s Mariajo Uribe (67).

Brooke Henderson is the top ranked player in the field at #7 and has her work cut out for her this weekend after 74 71 +1 T22.
