No. 2 Brooke Henderson, coming off a playoff victory last week over Ko in the KPMG Women’s PGA Championship, had a 72 on Saturday at the Meijer LPGA Classic to drop into a T21 at -6. She had three straight bogeys late in the round. Hamilton’s Alena Sharp (71) was even on the day and is T11th AT -9. Maude-Aimée Leblanc is -1 T60th
Defending champion Lexi Thompson shot a -5 66 on Saturday for a share of the lead at -15 with US Open champion In Gee Chun who had a bogey-free 65. Earlier this year she had to miss a month because of a back injury after she was struck by a suitcase that Ha Na Jang’s father dropped down an escalator at the Singapore airport !
Lydia Ko shot a 67 to reach -11 starting the back nine with four straight birdies.
