Billy Andrade broke the course record with a -9 63 for a share of the second-round lead with Joe Durant (65) and Todd Hamilton (67) in the PGA Tour Champions’ Principal Charity Classic, all at -10 134 at the Wakonda Club in Des Moines, Iowa.
John Daly's impact on this senior tour is obvious. There was a record opening-round crowd on Friday. He continues to draw huge galleries whatever he scores. Yesterday he shot his second straight 74 to drop to +4.
The lone Canadian Rod Spittle shot a -3 69, T37th.
Another crowd favourite Miguel Angel Jimenez shot 67 and is at -9 along with Tom Lehman (68), while last week's Senior PGA winner Rocco Mediate (67), Scott McCarron (68) and first-round leader John Inman (71) are all 2 shots back at -8.
