Lydia Ko is bidding for her 3rd Canadian Open title today

LPGA Tour Canadian Pacific Women's Open leaderboard http://www.lpga.com/tournaments/cp-womens-open/leaderboard

At the beginning of this week the lead story was all about Brooke Henderson, coming home to Canada after her historic win by 8 shots in Portland and a genuine shot at winning her national championship. Well she hasn't had her best game all week and yesterday after a shocking start where she missed a short birdie putt at her 1st, made bogey on the 2nd, and a double on the 3rd, she settled down eventually shooting 72, but she stands at +1, 13 shots behind a very familiar face.

Lydia Ko will be in the final pairing and will be vying to become the 3rd golfer to win three Canadian Open titles, joining Pat Bradley. and Meg Mallon.

She shot 69 and is tied for the lead with Candie Kung at -12 going into today's final round at this beautiful Vancouver GC.

Californian sensation Alison Lee shot 65 to sit two shots back at -10 then French woman Karine Icher is hanging in there at -9

Meanwhile Alena Sharp is having a good week for the Canadians after a -1 71 T28 at -2. Thirteen Canucks teed it up on Thursday, only Sharp, Henderson and Maude-Aimee LeBlanc who is at +4 remain.

Still the lead story when they get started this morning will be a familiar one. Lydia Ko trying to win the Canadian Open....again
