Low wind lead leads to low scores Friday morning at the PGA Championship

PGA Championship leaderboard http://www.pgatour.com/tournaments/pga-championship/leaderboard.html

There was little or no wind at Whistling Straits this morning and the early flight has peppered the course with birdies led by Hiroshi Iwata from Japan with a -9 63. George Coetzee the fine South African has posted -7 65.

Jordan Spieth and Rory started on #10, and have just wrapped up their rounds on the 9th.. Jordan is at -6 after -5 67 and Rory is in at -2 after another 71..

David Lingmerth who I wrote about this morning is the clubhouse leader at -7 with 8 birdies but a double and 4 bogey's..

The big news is that the wind has left the area and is not expected back until Monday so scoring conditions are ideal as Dustin Johnson, Jason Day, JB Holmes, Danny Lee, Rickie, Tiger etal are warming up.

The projected cut is +1, Tiger is at +3..
