Teeing up this weekend..Live scoreboards

While all eyes are on East Lake GC in Atlanta for the season ending Tour Championship, the culmination of the Fed Ex Cup there is as always a feast of golf around the world. Here are their storylines and live scoreboards..


PGA Tour Championship

PGA of Canada Tour Championship

The Tour Championship, kicks off this morning at Sunningdale Golf and Country Club in London has been altered this year where it will be a tournament without a cut and only open to top 60 players on the order of merit. Players finishing one through five on the money list gain access to the Web.com Tour, while those sixth through 10 earn exemptions into the final stage of Web.com Tour qualifying school, and those players from 11 to 20 get into second stage.

The men’s trio of Corey Conners, Taylor Pendrith and Adam Svensson have continued the success for Canada at the World Amateur Championship, firing a 10-under 134 to share the lead with Sweden and Switzerland after Wednesday’s opening round at Karuizawa 72 Golf East.

This event in Evian France has been elevated to 5th major status, Alena Sharp is the only Canadian, Karrie Webb is late in her first round and leads at -5..

Play has been suspended when Paraguay's Fabrizio Zanotti was hit on the head by a golf ball. Zanotti, who won the BMW International Open earlier this season, was on the 16th fairway when he was injured by a ball struck from the 14th tee.


The 31 year old received treatment on the course and was then taken to hospital. Zanotti had started his round from the tenth at Kennemer Golf Club and was level par after six holes when the incident occurred

France’s Gary Stal raced into an early lead at -4 through 11 holes when play had to be suspended. Play will resume at 1300 hours local time.

The final round goes today with Bill Walsh of Markham, Brian McCann of Mississauga and Bryn Parry of North Vancouver tied for the lead at -5.
