WGC Bridgestone Invitational leaderbaord http://www.pgatour.com/competition/2017/wgc-bridgestone-invitational/leaderboard.html
Jimmy Walker is under medication to fight that horrible, debilitating lyme disease which is usually contracted through an infected deer tick , and to his credit has been playing some damn good golf in the last two months including yesterday when he shot -5 65 on this tight tree lined Firestone course to take a 2 shot lead at -7 over Thomas Pieters 65 70 -5.
Rory McIlroy and Hideki Matsuyama are next tied at -4.
In a group T6 at -3 is Adam Hadwin who will be paired with Scotland's Russell Knox at 1.30pm. Adam shot 33 35 68 on Thursday, then followed up with 35,34 69 on Friday, so goes into the weekend in some pretty good company, including Jordan Spieth -3 and Jason Day -3 who are playing right in front of Adam at 1.20pm.
So a tall order for Adam, but this is yet another confidence builder, playing and competing along side the best players in this game. He's been solid so far.
