In keeping with tradition the Thursday/Friday tee times were just announced and there are story lines galore.
Here are a few that caught my attention..
Group 8 9.02am Mike Weir with Matt Every and Roberto Castro
( always watch Weirsy, he's the one Canadian who doesn't think he's done)
Group 9 9.13am Angel Cabrera with Gary Woodland and Ian Poulter
( Cabrera has new shock absorbing Ping shafts to take the pressure off his torn left shoulder and he is feeling great, bombs away with he and Woodland, Pully will be hitting first into greens)
Group 16 10.41am Adam Scott Jason Dufner a Matt Fitzpatrick (US Amateur Champion)
( Scott loving the defending champ role, his father played with him twice this week, if it wasn't so tough to repeat he'd be my pick )
Group 17 10.52am Jordan Speith Patrick Reed Rory McIlroy
( 3 young guns, Speith, Reed winners already this year, Rory is the 8-1 favourite)
Group 24 12.20pm Matt Kuchar Louis Oosthuizen Thongchai Jaidee
( Matt Kuchar is in form, last pairing last 2 weeks, 8 T10's, should be in the mix, and don't overlook Jaidee who just led his Asian Team to a great comeback draw against Europe in Malaysia)
Group 25 12.31pm Trevor Immelman Graham DeLaet, a Oliver Goss
( Delaet played good old cribbage during the rainout Monday, will watch with interest as he takes his great ball striking around Augusta)
Group 28 1.04pm Jason Day Dustin Johnson Henrik Stenson
( no surprise if the winner isn't in this group, and big DJ always has Ms Gretzky waiting should he fail....)
Group 29 1.15pm Bubba Watson Luke Donald Sergio Garcia
( Bubba got an attack of the allergies but has a win and 2 seconds, Sergio may be playing his best golf and is still only 34 )
Group 32 1.59pm Phil Mickelson Ernie Els Justin Rose
(2nd last group of the day for TV, Phil was solid in Houston, Justin has had 2 weeks off working with Sean Foley and Ernie still has the world rooting for him )
