Jim Rutledge gave it a great try at Coral Springs, Florida, the sight of the Champions Tour Q school
He has just finished his round at -2 70... -10 total good for T8 so he barely missed out on securing full status, but he has earned conditional status which means he is expected to get into almost a third of the regular full-field events apart from his Monday qualifiers,
He was trying to finish inside the top five to get full exempt status..
