It was in 1985 the last time the LPGA was invited to play at A.W Tillinghast's gem in Springfield New Jersey, Baltusrol Golf Club.
This time it is the Gil Hanse renovated Lower Course.
19 of the top 20 are in the field and they will contest the 2nd major of the year.
Maddie Szeryk (12.49 1st) and Brooke Henderson (1.39 10th) are in the field, neither in great form at present.
Brooke with 13 titles, won the first of 2 majors in 2016 as an 18year old when the KPMG PGA was in Portland. She is currently ranked 10th in the world.
