The LPGA are gathered in Michigan for this version of the Meijer LPGA Classic where Jennifer Kupcho is the defending champion on the Blythefield CC in Grand Rapids. 144 players vying for the $2.5m purse.
Brooke Henderson has won here twice and as I mentioned last week will be looking to turn around what has been a poor year by her standards thus far. Despite winning the season opening limited field pro am Tournament of Champions she has only had one T15 finish.
The tour's 2nd major of the year goes next week the KPMG Women's PGA at Baltusrol GC in Springfield NJ, then the US Women's Open at Pebble Beach, and Brooke is is one of the featured groups with England's Charley Hull and American Cheyenne Knight off the 10th tee at 8.02am.
Maddie Szeryk ranked #187 in the Rolex World Rankings and 63rd in the CME Ranking is in her 2nd full season is out early, playing well, currently T3 -3 through 11 holes.
