DP World Tour: Genesis Scottish Open Entry List
This week the world's top players are in Ireland for a long standing sold out charity exhibition at Adare Manor for a 2 day Pro Am, then in Scotland for the PGA/DP World tours sanctioned Genesis Scottish Open at the Renaissance Club in North Berwick,
Genesis is a new major sponsor, the luxury car division of Korean car giant Hyundai.
The full entry list is available above and it includes 3 Canadians, Corey Connors, MacKenzie Hughes and Nick Taylor as the field continues to prepare for the Open Championship next week at St Andrews, Connors and Hughes have qualified.
Connors shot 76 65 T88 to miss the cut at this event last year, then finished T15 at the Open at Royal St George's. Hughes had a terrific Open Championship last year T6 with rounds of 66 69 68 69 -8.
Colin Morikawa was in career form when he won the Open Championship last year at -15, edging Jordan Spieth by 2 shots.
Scottish Open weather: There is overnight rain forecast on Wednesday this week at North Berwick but none for the event itself, however the wind from the west will blow in the mid 20's kph from Friday-Sunday.
