After opening a shot off the lead (68) at this US Women's Open Brooke Henderson bounced back from one of her worst rounds at a major, an 8 bogey 78, where she only hit 7/18 greens and 7/14 fairways, with a -2 69 to sit T12 at +2, now 9 shots behind leader Lexi Thompson (66)
She is the lone Canadian and tees off today at 9.59 local time with Swedish amateur Maja Stark and a Korean Hyo Joo Kim.
Only 7 players are under par on this Olympic course with it's small greens and deep rough. The wind is scheduled to get up to 35kph from the W by the time the leaders tee off today, so I expect scoring will be at a premium.
