Breaking News: American young gun Colin Morikawa is making a late run and has grabbed the lead at -7 with 3 to play..no bogeys so far,,

What a sight to see two Canadian flags atop the leaderboard at the Workday Charity Open mid way through the opening round.

Adam Hadwin fresh off T4 last week fired at -6 66 to grab the clubhouse lead and Nick Taylor who won at Pebble Beach back in February returned to action with -5 67 T2 and they are in the clubhouse having set the target for the late wave.

Adam only had 1 bogey at the 10th, out in -5 31, back in with 2 more birdies at 35 for his 66.

Nick was bogey free with 3 birdies and an eagle for his 67.

David Hearn and Corey Connors are finished, in at -1 71 T45 late in the day.  Corey was out in 32 with 3 birdies but had 3 bogey's coming in including 16 and 17 to ruin a better round.

Mac Hughes shot -2 70 T30, and Roger Sloan is in the late wave.
