Well after a promising start to this week for the Canadian contingent with Nick Taylor, Adam Hadwin and Roger Sloan flying the flag in the top 10, Saturday was disappointing with only Sloan managing to break par as a blustery breeze got up making scoring more difficult.

Roger Sloan 68 73 70 -7 T20, Mac Hughes 70 68 72 -4 T31, Corey Connors 71 69 74 -3 T41, Nick Taylor 67 71 76 -3 T41, Adam Hadwin 66 73 76 -3 T41.

With a cold front moving through Muirfield Village scattered T'Storms are in the forecast, so officials have sent the field out in 3's off split tees and moved the starting times up to 7am with the final threesome Justin Thomas, Victor Hovland and Colin Morikawa due to tee off at 9am. (Their average age is only 24)

Morikawa stalled on Saturday, hitting only 8 greens in regulation and his even par 72 let Thomas who hasn't made a bogey in 54 holes overtake him with his -6 66 -16 total. Hovland also shot 66 and he's 2nd at -14 with Morikawa still at -13.
