Off to a fast start this morning, Francesco Molinari is -3 through 4 holes and currently leads his Italian Open at -19, just a shot ahead of Ryder Cup rookie Danny Willett who will be pleasing captain Darren Clarke with scores of 66 64 67 on this rain soaked Golf Club Milano.
In fact of the Ryder Cuppers' in Italy this week, Matthew Fitzpatrick and Andy Sullivan shot 65's yesterday, Martin Kaymer had a 67, Cabrera Bello a 64 and Chris Wood has a 63 in his scores, while Lee Westwood missed the cut.
So far the rain which has delayed play on Thursday and Friday is holding off.
