The icing on the cake for the sponsors would be the debut here of Rory McIlroy who begins his run at the Masters with 5 events in his next 6 weeks. He is in the morning wave off #10 with Hideki Matsuyama and Matt Kuchar.
Jordan Spieth is in a featured group with Fred Couples and young Justin Thomas in the late wave, so plenty of them on TV later today.
A series of rain cells moved through the area, so the course is a little soft today and the rough penal.
