Saturday : Koepka joins Lee, T1 Open de France.. Results

DP World Tour :FedEx Open de France Weather  Tee Times

Brooks Koepka, born and raised in Florida earned my respect years ago when he turned down the chance as a raw rookie to stay in America and play his way onto the PGA Tour via the Korn Ferry Tour, to join the Challenge tour in 2012. He won his way onto the DP World Tour in 2013 and played it in 2014 where he won Rookie of the Year

He then gained his PGA Tour card in 2014 on the strength of a 4th at the US Open and T15 at the PGA Championship.

Years later after winning 2 US Opens and 2 PGA Championships on his resume, he jumped to LIV in 2022 for which he was heavily criticized and has been there ever since, still banned from the PGA Tour apart from the majors and the Ryder Cup.

This year he has played the Irish Open MC, the BMW PGA Championship MC and now in Paris for this week's Open de France where he has found his game, today a -6 65 finds him tied for the lead at -11.

Min Woo Lee from the great Aussie Lee family which includes his sister Minjee shot -3 68 for -11.

The leaderboard is tightly bunched with 8 players within 3 shots heading into Sunday in the last regular season event before the Ryder Cup.

Canadians Corey Connors T49 -1 and Aaron Cockerill T61 +1

Sunday shoot out !!!
