• While Harrington has won the DICK’S Open in his first three starts in it, Canada’s Mike Weir has now finished second in his first two starts in the event

• In his second start at the DICK’S Open and first since finishing T2 in 2022, Canada’s Mike Weir improved on an opening-round 4-under 68 with back-to-back 67s to finish solo-second at 14-under 202; the finish comes three months shy of the 2024 Presidents Cup, for which he is serving as the International Team Captain; this week’s runner-up finish comes in his ninth start of the season and follows a T14 in his most recent start at the Senior PGA Championship
