With most of the big boys on holiday before heading to Scotland for the Genesis in North Berwick and the Open Championship at Royal Troon, the rank and file that make up the body of regular PGA Tour events take center stage this week in Detroit at this event sponsored by Rocket Mortgage.

They play all year round with 2 weeks off in summer around the 4th of July and 2 weeks off at Christmas, mainly in Florida.
Jimmy Jones won 6 MLGT events and took over as Tournament Director in 2007-2014.
After several sponsors, 8 time winner Scott Turner took over as Tournament Director in 2015 and became the owner in September 2017.
