Following Norway's Viktor Hovland's record breaking Sunday 61 worth $3,600,000 to win the BMW Championship the final top 30 for the Tour Championship at East Lake in Atlanta (August 24-27) has been settled and Corey Conners at #19 along with Nick Taylor at #22 will be the last Canadians standing.
1.Scheffler 2. Hovland 3. McIlroy 4. Rahm 5. Glover are the top five in the handicapping system that will see Scheffler begin the week at -10.
Taylor had a career year, finishing 2nd at the $20m Waste Management Phoenix Open and of course winning the RBC Canadian Open with that 75 foot putt in a playoff over Tommy Fleetwood to make Canadian golf history.
Conner's year was highlighted back in February with his 2nd Valero Texas Open win and he has been trending at the right time T6 at the St Jude and T10 on the weekend at the BMW.
(Adam Svensson finished 37th and Adam Hadwin 45th in the FedEx standings, thus ending their seasons.)
