The Sunday story : Henderson w/d, Ames 6th, Hughes 8th... live scoreboards

PGA Tour Champions : Charles Schwab Championship leaderboard here.

Let me start with the biggest tournament of the day, the Charles Schwab Championship and the Charles Schwab Cup winners will be decided today in Phoenix.

Padraig Harrington, right

It is still the Harrington/ Alker show, and while Paddy at -21 has a 5 shot lead over Alker -16, its likely even the Irishman goes on to win tonight, the Kiwi will still win the Cup based on his points accumulation over the year.

Alker who hasn't made a bogey all week would have to slip well down the field to let Paddy pip him, I'll leave all that to the mathematicians.

Stephen Ames continues his fine play, 65 68 68 -16 6th.

PGA Tour: Cadence Bank Houston Open leaderboard here.

It's still Tony Finau in the drivers seat heading into todays chilly final round of this Cadence Bank Houston Open. 65 62 68 -15 maintains his 4 shot lead over an Englishman called Ben Taylor who is 66 68 65 -11 and by the way Justin Rose who hasn't graced any leaderboards this year is T3rd 67 699 66 -8.

As for the Canadians:

Mac Hughes remains in the top 10 after his win at his last outing. T8 66 68 70 -6. Adam Hadwin T15 -5 70 65 70,  Taylor Pendrith T35 -1 66 72 71 and Adam Svensson T52 +2 73 67 72.

LPGA: Pelican Women's Championship leaderboard

There are 12 players within 4 shots of leader Allisen Corpuz from Hawaii 65 65 -10, including defending champion Nelly Korda 66 66 -8.

Remember the tournament is reduced to 54 holes.

Canadians: Alena Sharp T43 -1 68 71, Maude Aimee Leblanc T61 E 69 71.

Maddie Szeryk M/C and Brooke Henderson has withdrawn after her opening 71, no reason given from the LPGA or Brooke.

If you are new to the LPGA this is not uncommon. It can be as simple as feeling sick, or as Lydia Ko so aptly put it "that time of the month". Usually if it is a more serious injury like a sore back etc the women will say.

This is the final LPGA event of the year before the Race to CME Globe finale.
