Svensson has a day T2, chasing Seamus Power at the AT&T Pebble Beach Pro-Am.. full leaderboard..

PGA Tour : Pebble Beach Pro Am leaderboard here.

It's Friday evening and I can report the "Irish eyes are smilin' " back home as two of their stars are leading the LPGA and PGA Tour events.

In form Seamus Power has fired 64 64 -16 to lead this Pebble Beach Pro Am by 5 shots with a scoring record of 128, while his colleague Leona McGuire is T1 on the east coast in Florida with -13.

Power was 446th in the world at this time last year and MC here. He has been playing so well, this year he is 50th. 7 of his 14 rounds this year have been 65 or lower. "My wedge play has been much, much better and my putting has improved" said Power who has been seeking the advice of reknown sports psychologist Bob Rotella and is playing full of confidence.

That doesn't take away from the day Canada's Adam Svensson had on the MP course with 9 birdies and a lone bogey for -8 63 and he's T2 at -11 with 2 others who would all be leading if it wasn't for the Irishman !! He hit 18 fairways and 18 greens and you can't get much better than that !

Other Canadians : Nick Taylor T37 -5, Taylor Pendrith and Adam Hadwin both T47 -4, David Hearn and Mac Hughes both T59 -3 and Michael Gligic T129 +3.
