Sloan Hadwin, Henderson off to good starts....live leaderboards..

LPGA: With the Tokyo 2020 Olympic Opening ceremony underway inside the empty, cavernous stadium, Brooke Henderson and Alena Sharp our Olympic women's team both got off to good starts at the Amundi Evian Championships at Lake Geneva in France, with -2 69's. 

"I wanted to get off to a good start, and I putted really well today. I just need to hit a few more greens, make some more birdies, I'm excited for the next 3 days" said Brooke in her post round interview.

PGA Tour: Neither of our men's Olympians, Corey Connors or Mac Hughes is playing the 3M Championship in Blaine Minnesota, however the 4 guys who are, are in danger of missing the PGA Tour playoffs.

Roger Sloan

Roger Sloan played 16 holes before darkness suspended play T4 -6. Adam Hadwin is T10 -4 67, Michael Gligic T38 -2 69 and David Hearn T83 E 71.
