I listed the amateur accomplishments of Aaron Wise in my last post, and so it was no surprise that the 21 year old rookie has added a pro win to his glittering CV.
Wise shattered the Byron Nelson record at -23, shooting a -6 65 to beat Marc Leishman by three strokes as both became the first to finish the event at -20 or better. Leishman, who shared the third-round lead with Wise after leading the first two days, shot 68 to finish 2nd.
A 4 hour rain delay softened the new Trinity links style course and with no wind it was left defenseless.
Nick Taylor finished T32 -9, while Corey Connors was T53 -7.
