In a crowded scoreboard with 3 players tied for the lead, David Hearn has added rounds of 67 67 to his opening 70 and at -6 is in a pack just 3 shots off the lead, and just a great round away from his first PGA Tour win.
The leaders at -9 are the handsome Spaniard Rafa Cabrera Bello with a 65, Veteran Steward Cink at 44 with a 69 and former champion Ben Crane (68).
However there are 18 players within 4 shots of the lead including Phil Mickelson, Charl Schwartzel and Retief Goosen so it will be a tall task for whoever emerges victorious, including Hearn.
It is rarely easy to win on this tour, especially with guys honing their games for the US Open or desperately looking for their first wins in the absence of the games big names like McIlroy, Day and Johnson who are elsewhere practising for next week.
