Canadian trio are in contention on Sunday at the Manulife LPGA Classic

Lexi Thompson with rounds of 67 65 67 -17 will take a very narrow one shot lead into today's final round at this Manulife LPGA Classic in gorgeous weather in Cambridge, on the Whistling Bear GC.

She will tee off at 12.50 in the final pairing with her fellow American Lindy Duncan 68 65 67 -16.

However both will have to play their best to beat a star studded chasing pack that includes three Canadians led by Alena Sharp who added a gutsy 70 yesterday to her brace of 66's to stand T4 at -14. Brittany Marchand is having a terrific week considering she plays regularly on the Symetra Tour, 67 70 67 T9 at -12, while Brooke Henderson is T14 at -10, 71 67 68.

However world #2 Ariya Jutanugarn who was paired with Marchand shot a 65 and has moved to -14 and it won't be any surprise is she posts a score that Thompson and the rest will have to deal with come late this afternoon. Also in the mix are world #5 In Gee Chun at -15, and Susann Pettersen at -13.

So the scene is set for a dramatic Sunday, with 3 Canucks in the mix for the Cambridge fans, we'll see who makes the headlines around 5.30 this afternoon.
