Jutanugarn trying to win in her home Thailand

LPGA Tour Honda LPGA Thailand leaderboard http://www.lpga.com/leaderboard

Ariya Jutanugarn and Amy Yang both shot 6-under 66 in the first round Thursday to take a share of the lead at the Honda LPGA Thailand. Jutanugarn is ranked world #2 and she was bogey free today. Remember in 2013 she had this event won until she took a triple bogey on the 72nd hole. She was only 17.

Ryann O’Toole, Sei Young Kim, Minjee Lee and Shanshan Feng all shot 65 to sit a stroke behind the leaders.

Lydia Ko (70) had five birdies and three bogeys, while former No. 1 Inbee Park shot a 72 in her first action since winning the Olympic gold medal last year.

Ko has new equipment, a new coach and a new caddie.... how did she ever become the best golfer on the planet with the other guys ?

Canadian scores :  Not a great start for Brooke Henderson +3 75 T58 or Alena Sharp +2 74 T51
