PGA Tour Travelers Championship leaderboard http://www.pgatour.com/tournaments/travelers-championship/leaderboard.html

Young Daniel Berger is proving very hard to beat on his return to the tour after recovering from a shoulder strain. He has added a -8 62 to earlier rounds of 66 67 and at -15 he has a 3 shot lead over Russell Knox 64, Russell Henley 65 and Tyrone Van Aswegan 65 on this easy TPC River Highlands course in Connecticut.

Berger just 23, earned his first PGA Tour win two months ago at the St Jude Classic in Memphis, but has been out of action since the first hole of the WGC Bridgestone Invitational.

Other notables : Evergreen Ernie Els, picked up his 13th career ace with a hole in one on the par-3 16th hole from 176 yards. USA Olympians Bubba Watson and Patrick Reed each shot -2 68 -5 total while Matt Kuchar was one of the few over par, +1 71 -3 total. They all watched the Olympic opening ceremony on TV.

The cut fell at -1 and of the Canadians, Nick Taylor 68 71 68 -3 T49 was the only one to make it.
