Archerfield is a relatively new, private members links complex near North Berwick. It has 36 holes and this week it is the Fidra course which is hosting this Paul Lawrie Match Play. It will cost you nearly $400 to play as a visitor.

Today's final, now under way in a howling gale is between Alex Noren from Sweden and Anthony Wall from England and they are all square through 8  The runners up match features Oliver Wilson and James Morrison. who is 5up through 10 holes.

To get to the finals, Noren, who won for this sponsor, Aberdeen Asset Management at the Scottish Open back in July, beat Johan Carlsson 4 and 2 in the morning’s quarter-finals before edging James Morrison 3 and 2 in the afternoon.

Wall, who has played 431 European Tour events since collecting the only win of his career in South Africa 16 years ago, chipped in for eagle to beat Haydn Porteous in the morning and needed 22 holes to beat Oliver Fisher at the fourth extra hole in the afternoon.
