Taking advantage of calm morning conditions at Royal Melbourne, Ilhee Lee fired a -5 68 for a one-stroke lead after the first round of the Women's Australian Open.
Thailand's Ariya Jutanugarn (19) who is the youngest player ever to qualify for an LPGA event when she was only 11, bogeyed her final hole to finish with a 69.

Lydia Ko shot 70 T3 with Alena Sharp of Hamilton and Kwak Min-seo all just 2 shots back. Ko says she already is planning to retire from golf by the time she's 30 and become a psychologist. She moved to New Zealand from South Korea when she was 6, and now travels from her Florida base with her mother, Tina. Her older sister, Sura, has an architecture degree.
